Important focus areas for Sex og Politikk are United Nations’ Millennium Development Goals number 3, 4, 5 and 6, as well as the need of youth and other marginalised groups in Norway.
Sex og Politikk wants to contribute to change, and one of our goals is that Norway not only expands its national sexual policy, but also stimulates to increased SRHR activity abroad, through priorities in aid policies and through other international collaboration projects.
Sex og Politikk wants to be a driving force to ensure that SRHR remains a topic in the public debate. We think that this is a very important field in the work towards gender equality, to increase women’s rights and to reduce poverty internationally.
In addition, Sex og Politikk wants to exercise our guardian role by making sure that the government maintains its commitments towards the Millennium Development Goals, and especially towards Millennium Development Goals number 5.
