Irland’s Yes to Abortion – A Dream Come True!
The Irish Family Planning Association (IFPA, IPPF Irland) was central in the Together for Yes campaign that managed to turn the votes in favour of a repeal of the Eighth Amendment to the Constitution, on May 25 2018, enabling lifting one of the strictest abortion laws in the world. How was this possible, and what impact has it had on the general debate and understanding of sexual and reproductive health and rights in Ireland?
